Celtic Psychic Readings

In the time of the Celts, Ireland was known as the Sacred Island. Our people spoke Gaelic and we were mysterious and magic in our misty land. It was because we had such a magical reputation that kept it from invasion for many many years as the Romans feared the Irish Celts and were afraid of their magic.

It is claimed that the Celtic Irish are among the world oldest nationality grouple and despite periods when foreigners tried in vein to wrestle control of their culture, the Celtic Irish have been uniform people occupying one area for thousands of years. Unlike most other Celts the Irish were obsessed by the past. We developed our own writing system called "ogham", which is one of the many relation the Celts have with the Tarot. The Runestones, the Ogham etc all date back further than the Tarot and are regarded as an early form of Tarot with their straight lines being marked on peices of wood or stone to represent storm, harvest, war, etc. It is from the casting down onto the ground of these stones in ancient times that we have the phrase "magic spell", becuase from the single letters which would be carved on each individual stone, the local "wise person" would be able to spell the words of the gods which they believed protected them. The Celts are reknowned and gifted fortune tellers and like the tarot it is from the cards that once dealt a story unravels.

The Celts ritual sites are clearly designed around mcuh older sites, such as tombs, and mounds about which a rich mythology was developed. The Irish were quite clear that these were not the tombs of their ancestors, but said they they were the homes of an earlier, semi-divine people who had been driven underground by the Celts to the otehrworld, where they still resided in the kingdom of the "fairy-folk". This is the era where folklore originated, in the imaginative minds of the Celts. The Celts were a fascinating people, much misunderstood, somtimes maligned, somtimes exalted beyond their deserts. They prized libertyu above security, loyalty above common sense, and beauty above all things. The beauty of a woman, of a man, of the landscape and fine objects were celebrated in a multitude of ways, in poetry, song, feasting, death and through their fortune-telling, where they called on the Celtic Gods for answers in love, life and the life after death. This beauty and story telling lives through the Tarot, where once they were lines written on stone, we now have magnificent pictures and images. It is designed to put aside any preconceived notions, to let your intuition function with less restraint from your conscious mind, to beocme aware of your own limitations to move beyond them.

This is the very essence of how I approach the Tarot so people lets begin your quest and allow me to use the magical Tarot to guide you on the right path and into your future.
